Job description

The Financial Counselor is responsible for contacting patients to assure accuracy of patient’s account, with the goal of bringing resolution by obtaining accurate and timely collection of payments. This individual also will follow-up on and track the progress of all liability and worker’s compensation accounts, ensuring timely follow-up and payment. This individual will evaluate and resolve all open issues with patient’s account, ensuring timely payment from patients and applicable insurance companies. Type: Full-Time: Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8-4:30 and Friday 8-4 Responsibilities: Education: Minimum high school diploma or GED required. Two to four years’ experience in this or a related field required. Additional applicable education may be substituted for one year of work experience. Previous experience in a clinical environment preferred.
