GAI Consultants is currently seeking a Technical Specialist 3 to work in the Power Delivery Substation Department. The successful candidate will work on various substation engineering projects including detailed design for high voltage substation projects from 12kV through 500kV. Responsibilities: - Perform detailed design of low to extra-high-voltage substations and switchyards - Develop and/or revise existing drawings for one-line, physical arrangement, electrical schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, grounding, conduit and wire schedules, bill of materials, site development, battery sizing, and equipment layout, including coordinating with CAD operators to develop organized, quality CAD drawings - Integrate physical layout and design of substations to interface with protection and control drawings or vice versa - Develop control and relay panel layouts including assembling the specifications - Create project criteria - Develop...
