About this unit The Helen DeVos Children's Surgery department completes over 8000 cases per year. It has 8 operating rooms including one with a fully integrated iMRI suite. HDVCH surgery is verified as a Level 1 Children's Surgery site through the American College of Surgeons. Our unit is staffed 24/7 with a team of RN’s and Surgical Technologists. Our physician teams consist of all pediatric certified Surgeons and Anesthesiologists. Helen DeVos OR supports a large variety of specialties including: ENT, General, Urology, Robotics, Plastics, Ortho/Ortho Spine, Cardiac, Dental, Burn, Ophthalmology, and Neurosurgery.
