Tax Senior Tax Services: | Business Tax Tempe, Arizona, United States: Position Summary: Deloitte Tax LLP seeks a Tax Senior in Tempe, Arizona. Work You’ll Do: Review state and local income/franchise tax returns prepared by junior staff. Prepare state and local income/franchise tax returns. Conduct advanced tax research and draft technical memos. Supervise, mentor, and train junior team members. Manage client communications and lead calls. Develop and implement SALT planning strategies. Respond to state audit inquiries and notices. Review composite, withholding, and K-1 filings. Manage engagement workflow and delegate tasks. Review/revise tax workpapers prepared by junior staff. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus eighteen months as Tax Senior or related occupation gaining experience preparing and reviewing tax returns, estimates, extensions, and provisions for corporations and partnerships in multistate jurisdictions.
