Job Summary The Mechanical Product Engineer is responsible for the design, development, validation, and sustaining of mechanical aspects of high-technology electronic products from concept through mass production. This role works cross-functionally with electrical, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure products meet performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability requirements in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Product Design & Development: - Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for electronic products (enclosures, chassis, thermal solutions, brackets, connectors, etc.). - Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and specifications using CAD tools. - Perform tolerance analysis, material selection, and mechanical simulations (thermal, structural, vibration). Manufacturing & Industrialization: - Support NPI (New Product Introduction) from prototype through ramp to mass production. - Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to ensure DFM, DFA, and DFx compliance. - Support tooling design (injection molds, die casting, sheet metal, CNC) and review supplier tooling proposals. - Resolve manufacturing issues, yield lo...
