The Opportunity This position leads the development of cost estimates for large-scale, complex construction works, often part of major multi-year programs. This position is responsible for coordinating with diverse technical design teams and independent cost estimating teams to assess and validate costs and risks. This position prepares and validates cost and change management reports and produces regular budget/cost reports. To be successful in this role, you must: - Leads the development of comprehensive cost estimates based on total cost of materials, equipment, utilities, labor, risk, and general conditions for construction projects of large size and high complexity. - Oversees and prepares conceptual estimates, change order estimates, and other estimates for large, complex projects. Ensuring alignment with project goals assessing and validating costs and risks of project. - Develops and standardizes cost report templates and issues budget/cost and change management reports, driving consistency and strategic insight across large programs. - Produces regular budget/cost reports, including status, forecast at completion, and variance versus baseline budget.
