Job Summary: The TRS Senior Associate is responsible for executing, leading and training a team of TRS Staff in business restructuring and bankruptcy related engagements, including bankruptcy litigation and financial due diligence, and addressing complex questions and issues under the direction of a TRS Principal, Director or Senior Manager. Job Duties: - Partners with the Principals and decision-makers - Collaborates with debtor clients in restructuring the client’s businesses in and out of Chapter 11 - Prepares and analyzes complex, detailed cash flow forecasts and financial models together with assumptions and detailed supporting schedules. - Assists with refinancing efforts and sale transactions - Assists clients with downsizing operations, and meeting operational and financial goals - Works with buyers such as hedge funds, equity sponsors and companies in acquisition due diligence - Assists creditors with obtaining the most favorable distribution of assets from companies undergoing formal bankruptcy proceedings or informal workouts - Evaluates management to determine ability to operate and reorganize - Ensures compliance with all court filing requirements - Investigates transa...
