About the job The role of the Field Application Engineer (FAE) is to use their knowledge and abilities to help the company’s customers succeed with their application design. Key responsibilities: - Understand the customer applications and use cases - Proactively sell Nordic solutions to key customers - Successfully articulate the Nordic value proposition both in correspondence and in presentation settings - Respond to technical inquiries and provide solutions in a timely manner - Be available to support RSMs, distributors, and representatives - The FAE must continue to develop their own knowledge and abilities within their area of expertise - May assist in methodology improvements - May be assigned to participate in development projects Qualification and skills: At least 1 year of embedded SW development experience with an understanding of embedded HW BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar, experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree Ability to work with customers to develop solutions that meet their needs.
