Senior Mechanical Engineer - Self-driving Trucks

Job description

ISEE is seeking a full-time Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of work experience and has been through the product development lifecycle. This candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple new development projects, owning new hardware development from design and testing through production, writing specification documents for newly designed systems, and ensuring designs meet any and all regulatory needs. Previous work in the automotive industry is a bonus, but not a necessity. Role responsibilities include: - Design, integrate, and validate hardware for autonomous vehicles - Build schedules for new hardware initiatives - Create engineering specifications and coordinate development work on various vehicle subsystems - Develop assembly and test procedures - Work with contract manufacturers to ensure proper delivery of components - Lead design reviews - Design parts for manufacturing and BOM creation - Manage engineering changes for updates to existing vehicles - Work with Hardware team to ensure safety through all stages of development Qualifications: - Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical Engineering - 5+ years relevant industry experienc...
