Kalano Flexible Aged Care Service is seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality, culturally safe care to First Nations elders. As a National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flexible Aged Care (NATSIFAC) funded service, Kalano provides care for up to 18 permanent residents and two respite residents from the Katherine region. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a genuine difference by supporting elders to live with dignity, respect, and connection to culture. As the Registered Nurse on shift, you will provide person-centred, low to medium–level clinical care, lead and support care staff, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to create a safe, welcoming, and culturally appropriate environment for residents. Your leadership, clinical expertise, and understanding of the unique needs of First Nations communities will be central to ensuring exceptional care outcomes.
