Transportation Coordinator II

Job description

Essential Job Functions: - Serve as a first point of contact for customers and carriers, managing communication via phone and email. - Use Transportation Management System tools to plan, route, and execute shipments across truckload, LTL, and hotshot services. - Provide timely updates on shipments, including Track & Trace and Exception Management Monitor loads for exceptions, troubleshoot issues, and manage them through to resolution. - Assist with customer inquiries, complaints, and service recovery efforts. - Support the carrier billing process and resolve discrepancies in coordination with accounting teams. - Organize, prioritize, and action a high volume of emails to ensure all service requests are addressed promptly. - Contribute feedback and recommendations to enhance efficiency, compliance, and service quality. - Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives at both the account and operational level.
