Overview Shifts Available: Variable: Employment Type: Per Diem (PRN): Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, 2 weekend days a month, and a Holiday rotation Location: St Joseph Medical Center – Kansas City, MO A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) plays a crucial role in healthcare by supporting physical therapists in delivering patient-centered care. PTAs work in various settings, such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers, outpatient clinics, or private practices. PTAs aid in improving patient mobility, relieving pain, and preventing or limiting permanent disabilities by executing rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient’s needs.
