Job description

SUMMARY: Ship, receive, transport and store materials and finished goods. Complete simple shipping/receiving documents. Maintain accurate inventory records. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned. Lift Operation: - Operate a variety of lift trucks to move and store materials and finished goods as needed. - Perform preventative maintenance of lifts and record daily inspection of equipment. Shipping and Receiving: - Determine priorities based on customer needs. - Pull and stage daily shipments accurately. - Prepare products for transport by banding and/or stretch wrapping. - Load and unload trucks, including trailer inspection, and record findings. - Process simple shipping documents as required by customers. - Receive raw materials in ERP system, including inspections and verifications necessary. Transportation and Storage: - Transport materials, finished products and packaging materials into/out of warehouse locations. - Maintain accurate inventory using ERP and barcoding system. - Deliver supplies to other departments as needed. - Arrange, perform, and record cycle count.
