Lead Psychiatrist – Prison Directorate Location: Derrimut/Ravenhall Correctional Centre, VIC: Classification: HN64 Salary Range: $221.10 base per hour + Super (as per EBA) Employment Type: Fractional – 0.6 EFT About the Role: Forensicare is Victoria’s specialist provider of forensic mental health services. We are seeking a Prison Lead, Psychiatry in this newly created role, to provide operational and strategic leadership for psychiatrists across the Forensicare prison directorate. This role ensures psychiatric care is safe, person-centred, and evidence-based, while fostering innovation and professional development. You will work closely with the Director, Clinical Services (prison operations) to support broader directorate priorities, including governance, innovation, and integrated models of care.
