Job description

Our CAD Designer plays an important part on the Watson Metal Masters Engineering team. The Engineering Team works with the Project Managers, the Sales Team, Quality, and Production in designing equipment that solves complex challenges for our customers’ manufacturing needs. They have a pivotal role in our product design process and work to analyze new ways we can improve our current and future designs based on their extensive knowledge. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Designs pressure vessels, tanks, agitators, platforms and ladders that are specific to customer requirements using 3D modeling software. - Updates current production designs to meet customer needs, in keeping with internal standards. - Develops Bill of Material, customer drawings, manufacturing drawings and other related engineering documents. - Provides product and part design innovations resulting in improved quality and cost reductions. - Performs other duties, as assigned.
