Overview: Leads the most complex and highest risk issues associated with distressed or defaulted accounts across the Global Capital Markets (GCM) business. Identifies and mitigates risks associated with issues and distressed accounts by managing related litigation and bankruptcy efforts, legal issues associated with role and transaction performance, events of default, bankruptcy, subpoenas, servicer terminations and transitions, amendments, settlement agreements and general account or portfolio level issues. Provides leadership and serves as mentor for team. Primary Responsibilities: - Lead activities related to risk and regulatory compliance monitoring for assigned accounts. Document issues and actions ensuring compliance with Department and Company policies, procedures, and guidelines. Manage identified issues and mitigate risk providing support for less experienced team members. - Analyze the most complex issues and structures, including governing document review, waterfall reconstruction, and similar calculations to solve problems.
