Job description

Seton Hall University seeks an experienced IT Architect to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of enterprise cloud architecture with a primary focus on cloud infrastructure and SaaS integrations. The architect will play a pivotal role in designs around the migration of the Ellucian Banner ERP system to Ellucian SaaS, while ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performance integration across identity management, research computing platforms, AI/ML workloads, and a growing portfolio of cloud-native and hybrid applications. This hands-on technical leadership role requires deep expertise in cloud/IaaS services, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and SaaS ecosystem orchestration. The architect will collaborate with application owners, infrastructure teams, security engineers, and vendors to deliver resilient, cost-optimized solutions that support teaching, learning, research, and administrative excellence.
