Description POSITION: Medication Technician: REPORTS TO: Health and Wellness Director FLSA: Hourly: OUR MISSION: We focus on providing genuine hospitality and five-star quality care. POSITION SUMMARY: Provides medication assistance and personal care to the residents of the community, following the guidelines provided by Ciel Senior Living. This position reports to the Health and Wellness Director and may be required to supervise other staff positions. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: •Supports the mission, vision, and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting the company culture and vision. •Participate in incoming/outgoing shift report. •Complete documentation per Ciel Senior Living standards to ensure that all care services are provided and that resident needs are met. •Supervises Resident Assistants on assignment in the nursing department while on shift. •Participate in narcotic count at shift change, ensuring accurate documentation of inventory count. •Completes administration of medication as directed ensuring compliance with “Rights of Medication Administration”. •Participates in weekly medication cart audits, as assigned. •Assists in re-ordering of medication. •Supervises a...
