Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer Location: Greenford 40 hours per week Reports to: Supplier Quality Manager Interviews to take place: April. About the role: Supports the Supplier Quality Manager by working closely with suppliers to ensure processes, systems, and products meet customer design intent and quality requirements. The role focuses on supplier verification, defect prevention, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement, while managing customer-specific requirements and providing technical support. It ensures robust product quality through New Product Introduction, minimises quality costs, and safeguards continuity of supply. The position contributes to complex, multi-phase projects, with outcomes reviewed at key milestones by senior management. Key Responsibilities: General and Task Management Conduct supplier validation and quality audits, lead supplier approval processes (including APQP), and assess manufacturing capability and HSE risks. Collaborate with Engineering and suppliers to define process parameters, improve capability, and support new product introduction and first-off approvals.
