WIN Waste Innovations is currently seeking an EHS Specialist that will be responsible for routine operations support, assistance, and coordination. The Specialist performs routine inspections, responds to EHS type events, and helps each assigned site with administrative environmental and safety systems, reports, and submissions. What You'll Do... Training and Meetings: - Implement safety and environmental training programs for facilities. Arrange, coordinate and perform training, including new employee (on-boarding) orientation and on-going training programs. Aid the Environmental and Safety Managers with evaluation of training methods and presentations used by facilities. - Establish, assist, and participate in EHS meetings, incident review calls, operations calls, site Safety Committee and other meetings as assigned. - Completes on-boarding training programs within the time frame prescribed, and requests support from corporate EHS staff when necessary. - Assist the site team(s) with completing Observations and help the local management team assess performance. - Aid site, safety, and environmental leadership in coaching employees based on performance and needs. - Attend and parti...
