Consultant Psychiatrist in Older Adults Department: Medical and Psychiatry: Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Priory Hospital Dewsbury: Compensation: £146,719 / year: Description: Priory Hospital Dewsbury is looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist in Older Adults (or General Adult Psychiatrist with experience in managing Older Adults). Flexible hours up to 37.5 hours per week. Competitive Salary and package. Service rated ‘Good’ CQC. Based in the residential area of Earlsheaton, Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, Priory Hospital Dewsbury provides 32 beds, divided into two 16-bed wards for males who have mental health disorders. Hartley Ward is a level 2 Rehabilitation and Recovery Ward (Higher Support Needs). Jubilee Ward is an Older Adult service. Each service has a dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist who performs the duties of Responsible Clinician. The available post is for Jubilee Ward (10 bedded Specialist Dementia Service, and 6 bedded Functional Disorders).
