Working/Functional Title Associate Telecom Engineer: Position Summary: The Unified Communications team manages the critical communications infrastructure for the University, including the Telephony, Cable Television, Cellular, Contact Centers, Emergency Communications and Digital Signage platforms. The team works with University partners to consult, design, develop, deploy and maintain telecommunications systems to serve the needs of the community. This position on the Unified Communications Team, reporting to the Manager of the Unified Communications Team, will help the team manage, maintain, and enhance the Telephone, Contact Centers, digital signage, and Cellular on campus. This candidate would be working with others on the team to create new telecom applications for customers, maintain existing applications and maintain existing systems on the University’s critical communications systems. This candidate will be working with phone systems, cellular systems, cable television equipment, networked systems and much more to support critical services, which serve the University community.
