Come join WVTM-TV, the Hearst Television station in the Birmingham market as an intern this summer! WVTM-TV is a key community partner in Birmingham, providing breaking news, weather, and other information vital to local audiences through our newscasts. An NBC affiliate, WVTM-TV also provides entertainment programming and partners with the community on important local initiatives. As an HTV intern, you will come to understand how a television station operates and be expected to contribute to the operation. You will be engaged in the newsroom, assisting producers, editors, assignment editors, reporters, photographers, and anchors. The intern will also have the opportunity to accompany crews in the field. The intern will report to the News Director. Summer internship applications are due by: May 8, 2026.
