STATUS: Full time LOCATION: Newark-Wayne Community Hospital: DEPARTMENT: Radiology: SCHEDULE: Mon - Fri; 12:30 pm - 8:30 pm Sign-on Bonus: Up to $25,000: SUMMARY: As an MRI Technologist, your ability to empathize with patients, specialized technical skills, and dedication to quality greatly enhance the overall success of MRI imaging for diagnostic use in patient care in RRH Radiology. Performs technical and specialized skills in the operation of a Magnetic Resonance (MRI) Scanner to produce high-quality cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes, while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients undergoing these procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs a variety of routine and advanced MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) procedures in the presence of a strong magnetic field while monitoring and maintaining essential patient care and safety. Educates patients regarding their procedure and maintains a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for the patient throughout the exam.
