CNC/Routing - Machine Operator I

Job description

Responsible for machine operations and quality control/inspections. ☐Machine Operator – CNC: - Under minimal supervision: program and operate machinery to fabricate vacuum forming molds and tooling. - Load and unload jigs and raw material in CNC machinery. - Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements. - Recognize, deploy and use: inserts, fixtures and tools. - Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery. - Operate CNC routers per instructions. - Comply with all quality policy specifications and instructions to satisfy ISO requirements. - Follow established safety procedures; - Read and understand blueprints. - Assemble equipment; use of basic precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and comparators. - Determine specifications for high precision parts. - Meet production quotas for machined parts. - Other duties as assigned. Machine Operator I and II: The levels of I and II are determined by the amount of skill and ability of the operator. Machine Operator I operates one machine.
