Operations Manager

Job description

Position Summary The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing collections activities, container delivery and pickup for commercial, industrial and residential customers, while managing a large team of dispatchers, drivers, and other workers who are responsible for managing the route system as well as executing a local market strategy to best complete Casella initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Forms and maintains strong relationships with relevant community, environmental, and government groups to develop valuable business partnerships. - Develops a productive workplace culture to effectively manage performance and talent development and create an environment for potential growth and of best practices. - Oversees personnel needs of the department including selecting, coaching, disciplining, and training employees and evaluating employee performance.
