Education: Completion of Registered Vascular Sonographer accredited program with attainment of RVT Associates Degree or higher required Licensures/Certifications: Experience: Minimum 5 years of vascular experience preferred with proficiency in all aspects of vascular testing. Experience with vascular laboratory leadership preferred. Skills: - Healthcare Provider (CPR Certification). - Must have certification from ARDMS as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) - Demonstrated competence in the specialty area(s) to be performed, including sonographer certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). - Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and families who may be under physical and/or emotional stress. - Communication skills in order to exchange information on a professional basis with fellow professional, non-professional, and ancillary personnel. - Analytical skills necessary to determine the best method of providing requested ultrasound exams based on the specifics of the i...
