Job Summary: We are looking for a Lab Technician to join our Metallurgical Lab team who perform a variety of testing to ensure our products meeting/exceeding industry/customer requirements. Job Requirements: - Perform hardness and conductivity testing on test materials. - Operate band saw to excise tensile blanks from test materials per internal and customer requirements. - Use CNC machine to turn test blanks into tensile specimens. - Perform tensile testing. - Perform metallography (sectioning, mounting, milling, polishing, etching, and rating). - Perform chemical analysis. - Assure quality requirements are met as per the job specific flow-downs. - Participate continuous improvement, LEAN manufacturing, 5S. - Perform other duties as instructed by the Lab Manager or Lead Tech.
