College of Nursing and Health Sciences Department of Community Nursing: Part-Time Lecturer Positions: The Department of Community Nursing invites individuals interested in Part-time Lecturer (PTL) opportunities at the undergraduate and graduate level. Opportunities are available for clinical and didactic assignments. Part-time faculty are expected to engage in course-based continuous quality improvement/assessment per college processes and be committed to rapid pedagogical and other academic process changes as driven by environmental conditions. Undergraduate Level Teaching: Opportunities primarily include clinical agency, clinical skills laboratory, and/or simulation instruction in community, psychiatric mental-health, pediatric, and women’s and maternal child health pre-licensure and accelerated BS clinical courses. Didactic teaching opportunities are available in the RNBS track and possibly other tracks. Requirements : Preferred individuals for clinical education assignments will have a Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program, recent clinical practice experience, and clinical education experience in higher education or a healthcare institution.
