Status: Full-time, Contract Reports to: Regional HR Manager – Longlife Direct Reports: none Location: 5 Days a week onsite in North York The pay range for the role is $52,300 to $87,100. Purpose: This position closely partners with local management to provide strategic day to day HR guidance on all matters relating to legislative and companywide HR policy management, recruitment, employee relations, performance management and retention. Responsibilities: - Provide day-to-day support to hourly and salaried employees on all HR matters - Lead full-cycle recruitment and support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process and making hiring recommendations - Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding and offboarding of employees. - Respond to questions from management and employees on a wide variety of HR matters and escalating higher level and serious matters to Regional Manager, Human Resources. - Support the execution of HR strategies, policies, procedures, and programs to sustain continued growth and retention in alignment with Gay Lea core values - Facilitate day to day employee relations, including complaint resolution, conducting investigations and recommending correcti...
