About This Role The Principal Systems Engineer will serve as the Technical Program Lead for HVAC and Energy Systems is responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing laboratory tests to validate the performance, reliability, and safety of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and energy management systems. This role bridges engineering design and field deployment, ensuring products meet regulatory standards and customer requirements before market release. This role partners closely with the system architects responsible for energy and HVAC solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement detailed validation test plans for HVAC and energy systems in laboratory environments. Design and set up test benches and simulation rigs to accurately replicate real-world operating conditions. Execute functional, performance, and reliability testing on components and complete systems, including but not limited to air handlers, chillers, heat pumps, control units, and energy management platforms.
