Registration Specialist GI/Hepatology & Medical Weight Loss Clinics Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM: Location: Spring Mill (Onsite) Position Overview: This position supports the GI/Hepatology and Medical Weight Loss clinics by performing front‑office registration functions and ensuring a smooth patient experience. The Registration Specialist plays a key role in check‑in, pre‑registration, and insurance verification while collaborating closely with clinical and administrative teams to support efficient clinic operations. Primary Responsibilities: - Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors - Check patients in accurately and efficiently - Complete pre‑registration prior to scheduled visits - Verify insurance coverage and work registration task queues - Facilitate patient flow from point of entry through destination in a timely, accurate, and professional manner - Obtain and verify demographic and financial information to ensure accurate records and optimal reimbursement - Schedule appointments and interview patients for appropriate medical information - Explain departmental and hospital charges, policies, and procedures - Validate and enter charges into app...
