We are the only department at UAB St. Vincent’s Birmingham that performs invasive breast procedures. Our collaborative team works Monday through Friday with no evening or weekend shifts in an environment committed to high quality patient care. What You Will Do: Provide mammography imaging services. - Operate equipment and perform various mammography related procedures. Prepare and position patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately. - Explain procedures and educates patients about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health. - Develop and evaluate the film for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion. - Follow radiation safety procedures...
