Job description

As a Shift Manager at Miss J Cafe, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations during your assigned shifts. You will lead a team of baristas and service staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences, maintain high standards of quality, and ensure smooth and efficient cafe operations. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and support cafe staff during assigned shifts. - Open or close the cafe following standard operating procedures. - Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve any guest issues. - Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management. - Handle cash, POS transactions, and daily reconciliations. - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cafe according to health and safety standards. - Train and mentor new team members as needed. - Communicate with management about staff performance, inventory needs, and customer feedback. - Ensure timely preparation and quality control of food and beverages.
