High School Principal - Austin High School - ( 260000P4 ) Description Job Overview The Principal will define the vision and mission of the school, provide strong educational leadership to ensure high standards of instruction; ensure compliance with FBISD district policies and perform related district-wide administrative duties as required and/or assigned. Position Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Instructional Leadership and School Management: - Assume administrative responsibility and instructional leadership for the campus - Develop, review, revise, and continuously update the Campus Improvement Plan each year, with the assistance of the Campus Based Leadership Team - Demonstrate thorough understanding of state and federal accountability systems - Implement, communicate, and monitor Response to Intervention expectations to staff, parents, and students - Direct the development and implementation of campus specific staff development - Oversee and monitor a structured discipline management School/Community Relations: - Analyze and interpret available data to address needs of school and community - Communicate effectively with students, staff, parents and other syst...
