Clinical Professor in Neurology (combined position)

Job description

A combined position as clinical professor (50%) and as consultant (50%) is available at the Department of Regional Health Research , Faculty of Health Sciences , University of Southern Denmark (SDU) and at Neuroresearch, Department of Neurology, Esbjerg Hospital, University Hospital of Southern Denmark , respectively. The position is for a five-year period with the possibility of extension. The academic position: The clinical professor will be appointed at the Department of Regional Health Research, Faculty of Health Sciences, SDU. The position will be within Neurology, and focus areas could include, yet are not limited to, multiple sclerosis, neuroimmunology, biomarkers and clinical rating scales. Trans-sectional research and both national and international collaboration is expected. Areas of responsibility: The clinical professor will be responsible for neurology research. The clinical professor will also be responsible for developing new strategies for collaboration with other key stakeholders in the areas of Neuroimmunology and Novel Therapies and non-pharmacological treatment in Neurology.
