We’re looking for a Manager of Nursing Perioperative Services- PACU , someone who’s ready to grow with our company. In this position, you will manage daily clinical and personnel activities and provide administrative support to the Assistant Director. The Nurse Manager participates and coordinates the delivery of high quality, family centered, and developmentally appropriate patient care at the unit level. Think you’ve got what it takes? - Management or other formal leadership experience preferred - Experience with financial reports and orienting new hires - PACU knowledgeable (2yrs) Job Duties & Responsibilities: - Maintains clinical competency by ensuring that the physiologic, psychosocial, and developmental needs of the patient are met within a family-centered care environment. - Ensures the staffing needs of the department are adequately met. Creates and monitors staff schedules. Participates in the decision-making processes for hiring new employees. - Utilizing an inter-disciplinary approach, coaches and develops unit-based staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
