About The Lovett School: Mission, Core Values, and more The Lovett School Culture and Community Reports To: Head Nurse: Position Responsibilities: - Provide direct nursing care to students and staff, including assessment, treatment, and documentation of health concerns. - Administer medications and perform medical procedures according to physician orders and school policies. - Respond to health emergencies and provide first aid as needed. - Communicate with parents, school staff, and healthcare providers regarding student health concerns. - Maintain accurate and confidential student health records. - Promote health education and support wellness initiatives within the school community. - Follow all infection control procedures and emergency protocols. - Support compliance with state immunization and health screening requirements. - Assist with the management of chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and severe allergies. - Maintain a positive working relationship with school personnel, students and families. - Display competency in computer applications, record keeping and organizational skills. - Be willing and able to accompany students on overnight field trips (fully paid)...
