Position Overview and Responsibilities The Freeman Lab is currently hiring for a Research Technician who will design, perform, and analyze neuroscience experiments. The position will work independently at times and also seek assistance from more experienced team members when needed. These studies include operating highly specialized equipment and performing advanced techniques after appropriate training. Job responsibilities will include: - Performing animal model, molecular, and biochemical experiments - Organizing, interpreting, and communicating data to supervisor and co-workers - Improving experimental processes - Documenting work appropriately - Troubleshooting experiments - Collaborating and effectively communicating with other members of the lab Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in one of the biological sciences, physics, chemistry, or related area, or equivalent years of relevant lab experience. - Must be detail-oriented and work independently as well as a team player.
