Basic Job Function: Provide Hospitality, Culinary, or Business Management students the opportunity to gain firsthand work experience, while rotating through multiple departments within the resort. Provide friendly, attentive, and timely service to create an exceptional experience for all guests and members. Promote the Sea Island legacy of warm, genuine hospitality. Uphold and ensure compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures. Tasks/Responsibilities: - High School Diploma or equivalent credentials - Associates degree in Hospitality, Culinary, or Business Management - Enrolled in and pursuing a degree at an accredited institution - One year of hospitality experience - Minimum of 18 years of age (Georgia Law requires one to be over the age of 18 to dispense or serve alcoholic beverages) - TIPS (Training of Intervention Procedures) Certified preferred - ServSafe Certification preferred - Familiarization with Micros POS (point-of-sale) System preferred - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Proficient in Windows XP and Microsoft Office Software applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook - Proficient with peripherals, copier, fax, telep...
