Requisition Id 16206 Overview: This position will serve as the technical advisor to the Bethel Valley Hot Cell facilities within Nonreactor Nuclear Facilities Division (NNFD). This position has multiple roles including Safety Basis Implementation, Radioactive Material Inventory Tracking and Evaluation, serving as the facility Material Balance Area Representative (MBAR), and Conduct of Operations Implementation. The Safety Basis documents are Department of Energy (DOE) approved documents that govern the operation of our nuclear facilities and failure to comply with the requirements can result in reportable occurrences and fines for the organization. Many of these activities impact multiple NNFD facilities. In addition to these duties, this position may serve as the Facility Manager and Operations Group Lead liaison for conducting assessments and developing corrective actions for inventory related requirements.
