Location : Wageningen, Netherlands Hybrid : 5 days per week in the office Start date : September 2026: Duration: 6 months: About the role: We are looking for a motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented QFS Intern to join our Food Safety team and contribute to contaminant risk assessment projects that support product safety across our global portfolio. In this role, you will work at the intersection of food safety, toxicology, regulatory science, and risk management. You will support the evaluation of regulated and emerging contaminants, helping translate complex scientific information into practical risk assessment outputs that support business and product safety decisions. You will independently lead a contaminant risk assessment project focused on substances such as pesticides, heavy metals, and other emerging contaminants. Your work will involve reviewing scientific literature, evaluation reports from authorities such as WHO, EFSA, and FDA, and compiling toxicological thresholds, exposure reference values, and risk characterization approaches into a structured framework.
