SUMMARY: Interns will work alongside a licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC) to provide substance use disorder treatment services in accordance with 245G requirements for residential and outpatient levels of care. Interns will also Interns will gain experience with program services and tasks that meet requirements for the 12 Core Functions including, screening, intake, orientation, assessment, treatment planning, counseling, case management, crisis intervention, client education, referrals, record keeping, and consultation. Interns will also be provided supervision from a board approved supervisor for dual license seeking (LPCC, LMFT, LICSW) and work alongside MHP’s learning diagnostic assessments, mental health tools and assessments and individual therapy techniques.
