ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY: Summer Maintenance Workers: Possum Kingdom Lake: SUMMARY OF POSITION: The purpose of this position is to repair and maintain Brazos River Authority facilities at Possum Kingdom Lake. Essential duties and responsibilities include: maintaining public use areas by mowing, weed eating, picking up trash and cleaning restrooms; maintaining the dam, assist in maintaining paved and gravel roads, maintaining facilities; assisting with the construction of facilities and structures; maintaining minor equipment by changing oil and grease and making repairs; and any other duties as assigned. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Ability to recognize the meaning of common two or three syllable words; ability to perform the four basic arithmetic operations; ability to write simple sentences containing subject, verb, and object, and/or series of numbers, names, and addresses. The employee normally performs the duty assignment after receiving detailed instructions as to methods, procedures, and desired end results.
