Description POSITION OVERVIEW: The Maintenance Assistant will work in a variety of Residential Care maintenance activities to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the properties. Duties may include painting, small general repairs, completion of unit make readies, cleaning and other duties as assigned by the Residential Property Manager or designee. The worker is expected to be able to perform the duties as assigned with direct or minimal supervision, and in accordance with published safety standards and regulations. ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBLITIES: - Follow directions given by supervisor(s). - Perform tasks such as landscaping, completing make readies, preventive maintenance, daily maintenance requests as assigned and club house cleanings. - On-Call 24-hour responsibility for all Residential Care properties and offices in Wichita as per assigned schedule. - Removing snow and ice as necessary at all Residential Care facilities or offices as assigned. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete assigned work orders.
