As a Detail Inspector , you’ll conduct inspections of aircraft parts to assess serviceability and document findings. You’ll also support production by contributing to process improvements and maintaining accurate records and system updates. What you’ll do: - Conduct visual inspections of aircraft parts and determine their scrap or serviceable status. - Input inspection information accurately into the system. - Ensure products are clean and in acceptable condition for inspections. - Determine repairability of products not meeting requirements. - Record inspection results and generate cost estimates and repair documentation. - Inspect and identify parts in the Reduced to Spares (RTS) process. - Supervise detail inspection trainees in the on-the-job training (OJT) process. - Participate in continuous improvement of...
