Description Overview: The Department of Biology at Ursinus College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Biology to begin in Fall 2022 for the 2022-23 academic year. The Department seeks an individual who is trained in neurobiology and can contribute to courses in neuroscience as well as biology. Responsibilities: We specifically invite applicants whose expertise is in the field of cellular neurobiology. Responsibilities will include teaching electives that contribute to the biology and neuroscience major, Cell Biology (BIO-102) and Genetics (BIO-201) lecture or laboratory, and possibly a research methods course in Neuroscience (NEUR 200). Applicants may conduct research with students in neurobiology as part of the position, but this is not required.
