Teacher of Mathematics

Job description

We are seeking an able mathematician and inspiring teacher to join our large and successful Mathematics Department on a part-time (0.5 FTE) basis from September 2026, teaching across a range of ages and attainment, potentially from Year 9 to Year 13. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about Mathematics both as a discipline in its own right and as a means of developing curiosity and confidence in learners, and who is an excellent communicator able to engage pupils of all abilities. The successful applicant will be academically strong, with excellent A Level results in Mathematics (and ideally Further Mathematics) and a degree or professional background with a significant mathematical focus; experience supporting high-attaining pupils, including those aspiring to Oxbridge, would be an advantage.
