Job description

The PM Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and work areas during evening operations. This role is critical in supporting kitchen efficiency, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment, and assisting with overall back-of-house cleanliness, including trash removal and general cleaning duties. Key Responsibilities: Dishwashing & Sanitation: - Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently - Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans - Ensure all items are properly dried and stored in designated areas - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish pit area - Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines (local, state, and brand standards) Cleaning & Maintenance: - Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, floors, walls, and equipment - Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly throughout the shift - Assist with deep cleaning tasks as assigned (e.g., drains, mats, storage areas) - Maintain cleanliness of sinks, dish machines, and surrounding work areas - Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and used properly Trash Removal & Waste Management: - Remove trash from k...
