Job description
The primary purpose of this role is to manage the execution of customer connections by acting as a customer advocate and facilitating essential communication and problem-solving among customers, the plant, and the quality, supply chain, and finance departments. In this role you will: Manage day-to-day activities and execution of our customer connection – follow established contract review procedures and provide accurate quoting, order entry, status, shipments, returns, credits, and customer portals; being proactive when interacting with customers and resolving potential issues. Follow-up on quotes: Provide objective feedback to commercial and marketing teams. Act as a customer advocate –Drive Ease of Doing Business with Arconic. Ability to reach across departmental boundaries to satisfy customer inquiries. The Inside Sales Representative is accountable to manage issues outside the traditional bounds of responsibility when required to satisfy a customer or business objective. Turn Quotes into Orders (Capture Business) Provide feedback to commercial and marketing teams. Post Order Management – manage unadjusted items, process claims and negotiate settlements.
